NVIDIA highlights OpenThai 2.0 Legal at AI Day Singapore
On 22 September 2026, NVIDIA published its round-up of NVIDIA AI Day Singapore (Raffles City Convention Centre, 22–23 September). Under the heading "Southeast Asia Technology Leaders Build With NVIDIA Nemotron Open Models for Region-Specialized AI", Thailand is represented by iApp Technology, the Big Data Institute and OpenThai 2.0 Legal, our open-source Thai legal model.

The TH-AI Passport listing went live the same week as the NVIDIA article (Thansettakij, 22 September 2026). Passport holders can ask questions on Thai law with cited statutes and sections, search and summarise Supreme Court judgments, and summarise contracts.
The model in brief
OpenThai 2.0 Legal is a 30-billion-parameter Mixture-of-Experts model that activates about 3 billion parameters per token and runs on a single GPU with 24 GB of VRAM. Asked a question with no statute in the prompt, it recalls and cites the correct law and section from memory. On our published benchmark it has roughly four times the closed-book recall of Qwen 35B on the Civil and Commercial Code. Its outputs are decision support, not legal advice. A qualified professional should verify each citation against the current law.
